Learn how to communicate well in French in a friendly group

Two-week course from 7-8pm on Monday 8th and Monday 15th April 2019 - run by Ann Partridge -  an experienced Adult Education Tutor with over twenty years experience working as a French Tutor at the Adult Education Centre in Newton Abbot and other centres.

The topics covered will include greetings, French numbers and prices, ordering food in a café, introducing yourself and your family and saying where you’re from , what you do for a living etc, as well as the chance to ask others for information.

Aimed at those who have done some basic French at school, which you have forgotten a lot of and so lack confidence to speak French; this course will help you learn more and gain in confidence with plenty of practice in speaking and listening, whilst working in a friendly, supportive group setting.

Ann has a B.Ed. Degree in English and French, from Sussex University as well as an Honours Degree in French from London University.

The course is using the BBC publication Talk French available from WH Smiths in Teignmouth or other bookshops or on line. The book comes with 2 CDs to listen and practice in class, at home or on the move.

The course fee is £20 for the two-week course - 1 hour a week 7pm to 8pm on Monday 8th April and Monday 15th April 2019.

Please note that you will be joined by those who may have already completed Ann's 6-week course.

Book this course directly with Pavilions Teignmouth online, over the telephone on 01626 249049 (open 10am to 3pm Mon to Sat and 1 hour before any film or show) or in person. Please note there is a £1 transaction fee online or over the phone,  or 50p in person.
