PAUL SAVAGE

Paul began his comedy career in 2007 with a nomination for ‘Best Ddebut Show’ at the Leicester Comedy Festival. He has toured all over, especially Scandinavia, where he does a two-hour long routine about meatballs. “Do the meatballs thing again,” they shout, as soon as he’s finished. Mercifully he doesn’t do that in the UK, although he does have jokes about Vodka and high rates of taxation which work in both places. Mostly he does motormouth anecdotes shot through with puns, some of the terribly good and others brilliantly terrible. He’s the sort of comic where, just as you’re pondering the last joke, another one smacks you in the ear.

‘Genuinely brilliant… an all round hoot’ - The Guardian

ALEXANDER BENNETT

Alexander Bennett’s comedy has been described as dark, silly, filthy and thoughtful. Existential safety features, virtual gay pornography, French sex robots and the Descartian dualism applied to sausage rolls – some, though probably not all, these topics will be discussed by Alexander, who is an intellectual powerhouse of a comedian. Well, that’s going a bit far: an intellectual bicycle repair shop, though, without doubt. He is still in his twenties; at least he was when this press release was written. He looks older, which may be due to him reading too many books and overthinking things. Come and laugh at him, that his early descent into dotage won’t be in vain.

‘Dark comedy with a healthy amout of compelling courage’ – The Wee Review, Scotland

CHRIS BROOKER

Described only half-accurately as comedy's ginger viking, Chris has taken his brand of comedy and compering all over the UK as well to the US and Canada. His infectious energy and enthusiasm sweeps through a room like an irresistible force, and the combination of original material and inspired improvisation means that you’ll never see the same routine twice.

‘The best act of the night, his quick wit silencing hecklers and getting plenty of laughs.’ - Manchester Evening News
