Back Beach Boyz – 1:00pm & 1:40pm

Are a crew of shanty singers, based in Teignmouth, having fun raising money for charity. We take our name from Teignmouth’s Back Beach, where the view of the setting sun behind the Tors of Dartmoor can be spectacular. We normally sing shanties (work songs from the days of sail) traditional and new, plus songs sung by the workers (navvies) who laid the tracks for the engines to run in.
