JOY OF WATERCOLOUR- With white ink PART 2. New! [beginners/improvers]
17 JULY 10.30-2.15 Series of four £124 or £33 each
This monthly course of four sessions introduces the beginner or improver to painting a specific subject and additional media. We will be using white liquid ink [ideally bleed proof] o learn the times to work on top of water colours with ink to recapture white or add fine detail. Then a little bit of magic as we see what white ink can do used with ‘wet in wet’.
Building on last term’s beginner's courses where we concentrated on learning techniques, now we will take them out for a run as we consider painting in the in various ink styles. New beginners are welcome, come and jump straight in as we start with an easy warm up before discussing, then painting with the inks. You naturally get to learn by seeing other’s work too, as we celebrate our successes and ‘happy accidents’!
Materials suggestions here, please allow time to gather!
Book sessions 1-4 for best learning continuity and saving, however the sessions will stand alone. Painters who would like to stay all day can also book the additional am/pm and continue in their preferred medium on a project/something from my inspiration folder.
