Come and play some Ghanaian Kpanlogo. This rhythm came about during the time of Ghana’s independence from the British.
Starting as a youth movement, this funky groove became extremely popular and is still played today.
We will play on barrel shaped drums called kpanlogos which create a warm melodic rhythm. No experience necessary!
Starting from scratch, you will learn basic fundamental techniques which will have you grooving in no time.
Expect BIG Beats, Big Breaks and most of all Big smiles!
