What is your policy regarding 'Babes in Arms'?

Pavilions Teignmouth aspires to make all of our customers welcome, no matter how small and we really hope that our younger visitors become regulars at our theatre, shows, and cinema. In consideration of our audience and performers, we just ask that those under the age of 3 are only admitted to shows aimed at the very young. If in doubt, please check with Box Office.

For those under 18 months old, who will not require a seat and can remain on the lap of the attending adult, babes-in-arms tickets are available for children’s shows and films at our discretion. Please can carry-cots, baby carriers, prams and pushchairs remain outside the auditorium. If an auditorium seat is required for a carry-cot, a ticket for that seat must be purchased.

We ask that parents/guardians of very young children choose to sit near an aisle, where possible, and be prepared to leave the auditorium if their baby becomes unsettled.

Please note that there are baby change facilities on the ground floor and on the first floor of the building.

Children over the age of 18 months must have a seat purchased for them.

What should I do if I do not receive my email confirmation?

Sometimes the emails can automatically be transferred to your spam/junk inbox, so you should always check their first. Understanding that the email won’t come instantly so sometimes if can take some time. If you still don’t receive your email you can ring the box office and they can help you resolve the issue.

Why is there a booking fee?

We get charged for every ticket we sell to you by the bank, the card companies and the box office booking system itself. Pavilions Teignmouth is a charity, with no long-term funding from any source therefore we must be sustainable, so we can run the box office with real people who can help you choose your seat and assist when needed. There are costs.

We do not charge any additional fees for the use of credit cards or online bookings. . There is a Booking Fee:  50p at the box office and £1 online and over telephone.

There is a postage and processing fee of £1 if you would like your tickets to be posted to you.

Is there disabled seats/ access and places near the theatre for disabled parking?

We do have wheelchair access in the auditorium. We have two spaces for wheelchairs available at either end of our ‘balcony’ row (Row L), which is on the level on the first floor, and accessible via the lift located at the front of the building in the café. The wheelchair user books the space, and their guests can sit on the seats at the end of the row next to them. We also have space available on our front row, Row A. We will remove two seats from this row, allowing for a comfortable space for the wheelchair user. Their guests can then sit next to them on Row A. This row is flat access on our ground floor.

To book wheelchair spaces, please contact us on 01626 249049 (or visit in person), during our Box Office opening times.

There is flat access, via an automatic door, at the seafront facing end of our building. There is a disabled toilet located on the ground floor, at the end of the café, and one on the first floor, along the main corridor from the bar. You may wish to drop off any passengers needing flat access outside our seafront side of the building (Upper Den Carriageway).  The nearest parking to the Pavilions are the roadside spaces on the seafront/Den Crescent/Upper Den Carriageway (out of season only) (operated by Devon County Council), including disabled bays for 3 vehicles on the ‘town’ side (Den Crescent) of our building. Please note parking times/restrictions and guidelines for Blue Badge Holders when parking.
