Why is there a booking fee per transaction?
Pavilions Teignmouth is a charity, with no long term funding from any sourcetherefore we have to be sustainable.
In order for us to run the box office with real people who can help you choose your seat, assist when needed, there are costs. We get charged for every ticket we sell you by the banks, the card companies and the box office booking system itself.
You have asked - Why don’t you put the ticket price up instead?
As all of the films and many of the acts that come here work on a percentage basis, we would have to put the price of the tickets up considerably more to cover the costs. The promoters and distributors would then take the bulk of the increase. We are trying to keep the costs to you the customer at a minimum.
The booking fee per transaction supports the sustainability of the diverse programme and allows us to put in films, shows and events that appeal to a wide range of audiences.
50p per transaction when purchasing tickets at the Box Office
£1.00 per transaction when purchasing over the phone or online.
If you are in Teignmouth follow directions to the Seafront and there are finger post signs for Pavilions.

We do not have any designated car parking for the venue. There are a number of car parks nearby including disabled parking
