Headliner

Jon Wagstaffe is a simple country lad from Tewkesbury who burst onto the scene in May 2011 and has propelled himself quickly into being a well known act on the comedy circuit. His mix of high energy and clever writing make audiences warm to him instantly. Now experienced in playing to stag & hen parties to corporate nights, pubs to festivals, comedy clubs and competitions Jon is comfortable in any room. His take on modern life will have any audience in fits of laughter. He is also devilishly good-looking and has beautiful hair. He is also resident compere of his own night in Gloucestershire scallywags comedy.

“A naturally sharp & funny comedian, fresh like everything from Tewkesbury.” Patrick Monahan

“Very energetic, bombastic contagious humour.” John Elson, Voodoo

Kevin Precious has been a full time stand-up comedian since the mid-noughties. He has performed variously at most of the top clubs in the country including full weekends for the Glee, the Stand, the Frog and Bucket, ROFL Comedy and the Comedy Lounge; as well as appearing at renowned London gigs such as the Banana Cabaret, the Covent Garden Comedy Club and Downstairs at the Kings Head.

His comedy travels have also taken him to further flung destinations including Amsterdam, Maastricht, Budapest, Bucharest, Dublin and Ibiza.

“Delightfully funny with a great stage presence, Precious was certainly a tough act to follow” – On Magazine

Charmian Hughes started out her working life in Advertising- but after her triumphant thrush remedy slogan ‘When your c**t can’t, C*n*stan can’ offended the client instead of delighting them, she found herself catapulted into the world of stand-up comedy.

Classes in clowning and circus followed, including with renowned French mime guru Philippe Gauliere, where for under a thousand pounds,  Charmian learnt the art of gurning and breaking wind simultaneously, to the maestro’s cries of ‘Merde’.

Since then Charmian has travelled the world with her stand up !

She has played her ridiculously funny and original sets in venues including The Comedy Store and many more. She has kept order and created atmosphere as brilliantly funny MC at Up The Creek and  Glastonbury Festival’s Comedy Cabaret and late night Maverick Marquees, yet is equally at home introducing some weird Physical Maths Ballet for Theatre Stage.

“Good old fashioned set-up and punch. four stars” Funny Women
