Performance Parkour with Prodigal UPG – TeignMove Workshop

Saturday 1st February – 10:30am to 12:30pm

This two-hour workshop is for people aged 13+ of any ability who want to explore the principles of performance Parkour. The internationally award-winning Urban Playground Team bring their knowledge of movement, theatre and high-calibre teaching skills to enable young people to take dance in to new dimensions. By working with a scaffolding rig and incorporating parkour disciplines in to dance they explore how to tell both new and ancient stories. Parkour originated in Paris as a discipline of overcoming physical obstacles in an urban landscape. Join the Urban Playground Team to discover physical theatre with dance at its heart.
