Body Active Listening & Soothing
During times of change, our hormones and nervous system speak clearly, often through fatigue, emotional overwhelm, sluggishness, or loss of focus. In tai chi and qigong, these signals are understood as signs that Qi (vital energy) is under strain or blocked by stress.
Rather than pushing through or ignoring these messages, this course invites you to:
- Slow down
- Become more present
- Calm the nervous system
- Learn how to respond with care and clarity
More Than Exercise
Led by an experienced Energy Psychotherapist and Tai Chi & Qigong Instructor, this course goes beyond physical movement.
Sessions combine four pillars of wellbeing:
- Tai Chi Foundations
Improve balance, bone density, posture, and overall vitality. - Qigong for Women’s Health
Specific forms to soothe the kidney meridian and support womb qi. - Energy Psychology & Acupressure
Self-massage and tapping techniques to calm the nervous system and ease emotional blocks. - Energy Medicine Techniques
A simple five-minute daily routine to support ongoing stability and health.
You will also connect with a supportive community of women in a safe, non-judgemental space, either in person or online.

Meet Your Instructor
Alda has been sharing the art of Tai Chi and Qigong for over twelve years, having taught in-person classes across Dublin and Devon. During the lockdown years, she transitioned to teaching online to support her students’ health in a time of great need, with many of her long-term Irish students joining her virtual sessions.
While continuing her own dedicated practice at home, Alda spent the last few years training deeply in Energy Psychology modalities. She is now returning to in-person teaching, bringing together her extensive movement expertise with these powerful new tools to help women find strength and serenity.
She is navigating menopausal challenges herself, and she offers this course as a reminder that community, gentle practice, and consistency truly matter.
