‘Afrobeat’
Nigerian Fela Kuti is said to have pioneered the Afrobeat as a style which fuses Nigerian, Yuruba percussion with American Jazz & Funk. These workshops will explore this style with a combination of djembe, kpanlogo and dun dun bass drums as well as a variety of percussion including, bells, clave and cabassa.
All welcome & drums provided.
