Fanga!

Come and play Fanga! Made famous by the pioneering Nigerian Drummer and percussionist Babatundi Olatunji. The rhythm is described as a Liberian invocation to the earth and sky and has inspired djembe players worldwide. The rhythm has come to represent peace, friendship and hospitality.

In the sessions you’ll get to play djembes, kpanlogos, dun dun bass drums and a range of percussion including bells, shakers and clave. Expect big drum breaks, big smiles and most of all lots of fun!

All sessions are accessible and open to all. Drums are provided or you are welcome to bring your own. Booking is essential. Classes run from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
