JAN 10  GUIDED PAINTING NEW!-Get started in 2024! 10.30-4.30 £67 [Beginners & Improvers]  Acrylics     * a basic pack of equipment for beginners can be provided for £5, pls pre-book with box office.

Commencing the season with our popular guided painting session based on the above painting to get you started this year. Utter beginners and improvers alike can produce a picture ready to hang that night! Liana has a way of teaching fool-proof methods to get beginners producing pleasing results immediately, whilst encouraging the improvers to take it further. There are always artist’s tricks of the trade to be learnt and borrowed to take forward into your future paintings. You'll also experience the pacing of a painting and what to do when. Expect to feel more confident in what you can achieve by the end of the day!

It’s a great way for beginners to start and also experience one of our fun courses. If you haven’t got materials yet and want to ‘try before you buy’ Liana can supply a canvas board and paints and lend tools for a cash payment of £5 brought on the day, please request this to the box office at least two days before course. Other general materials to bring from home are listed below.

With a ‘meet the tutor’ session to get a feel for Liana’s well-structured, progressive classes [ come and ask any questions]; lots of speciality workshops with fun techniques in differing mediums and a series of ongoing courses to come and learn or improve your watercolour or acrylic painting.  Hopefully there’s something for everyone, come and treat yourself to a day of painting in a light airy studio, with good company and always some laughter and surprises!
