Term 2 of the intermediate Italian course builds on core communication skills with a strong focus on using language in real everyday contexts. Over seven weeks, learners expand their vocabulary and improve their ability to describe past experiences, give directions, and express opinions. The course strengthens understanding of key grammar points such as past tenses, prepositions, and common connectors, helping students speak and write with more clarity and confidence.
As the term progresses, students learn to handle more complex structures, including making hypotheses, giving instructions, and talking about future plans. There is a clear emphasis on practical usage, with activities that integrate speaking, listening, reading, and writing. By the end of the course, learners are able to combine these skills to produce more complete and natural communication in Italian across a range of situations.
