Joy of Watercolours ‘From Basics to Development’
A series of small, friendly, monthly sessions to build your skills.
All workshops 10.30am to 1pm.
£35.50 each or £120.50 for the full course of 4 (including 50p booking fee).
16th September – ‘Building Depth with Layers’
14th October – ‘Getting Looser with “Wet n Wet” Transparent Style’
18th November – ‘Draw & Paint- Still Life with Gourds’
11th December – Winter Wonderlands & Christmas Charm’
These small group, half day sessions are a packed whistle stop tour through a technique or subject. Expect a warm up, demonstrations, clear step by step teaching, lots of exercises or sample sheets so you can take the ideas away and practice. Time allowing, we may start a small painting to consolidate the skill. If you want to paint a more finished piece in your preferred medium, book both sessions and stay for the day. In November and December we’ll jump into a painting[s] and learn as we go.
Easy enough for beginners [with extra tips about materials etc] and challenging enough for improvers who will get extra ‘push’ to develop their skill.

Beginners without materials who are dipping their toe, may purchase/borrow a small materials pack for £5 cash on the day if they request this with the box office AT LEAST TWO DAYS BEFORE THE WORKSHOP. Come and get going!
