These are always our most popular subjects, or why not combine both?! Whether separately or together we’ll examine some famous examples and consider the colours, textures and energy that might inspire our own luscious scenes. Following a demo, we'll experiment with some techniques that overlay colour, consider colour combinations and plan our painting for maximum impact. Taking inspiration from the masters we’ll summon up the courage to exaggerate our accents and textures to truly Luscious levels.

You can select your paint media, and may find that combining several will be exciting [see materials list for suggestions]. For this reason we’ll work in an A4 up to A3 format to focus on technique rather than covering large areas. You will then be able to take this and use in your own designs. If you are yearning to work large watch out for our Big Painting Day on April 24^th, the culmination of our spring programme.
