APRIL 3 FUN WITH SURPRISING & EASY PRINTING TECHNIQUES! NEW! 10.30-4.30 £67 [Utter Beginners & Improvers] Acrylics
Printing and fine art can be very separate disciplines, but today we will crossover and use simple Mono printing [hand created surfaces of colour, pressed to paper] to create several images that can stand alone or be collaged into paintings, or even applied directly to give extra texture and character onto a painting. You may even like to bring an existing painting that you don’t like and give it a whole new look! With much experimenting we’ll unleash our creativity in a totally different way. Watercolourists may find it is the ideal way for them to embrace mixed media.
We will also be SQUISH printing where acrylics are applied to a specific surface, flipped and manipulated further by hand ….....without even getting your hands dirty! it could be the most fun technique ever and produces crazy, colourful results! Because of drying time we’ll be doing small sample boards/paintings in this impasto technique, feel free to replicate larger at home!
Materials suggestions here, allow time to gather few but some very specific items!
