From the same fantastic line-up that created Bugs Beasts and Birds in 2022 and Wonderful World in 2023 we have a programme of space-themed music as you are unlikely to have heard it before, including:

 

· Holst – The Planets arranged in a jazz style

· Sunrise from Also Sprach Zarathustra by Richard Strauss (as used in “2001: A Space Odyssey”

· Barry Gray – Fireball XL5 and UFO theme

· Debussy – Clair de Lune

· Theme from Star Trek

· …. many more!

 

With: Alfie Pugh – keyboards

Rebecca Willson – violin

David Jones – guitar

John Donnelly – double bass

Gary Evans – percussion

 

As part of the Teignmouth Classical Music Festival Alfie Pugh and Jade Gall (woodwind) will be performing at Hazeldown and Teignmouth (Mill Lane) primary schools. The concerts are offered free to the schools.
