NEW- GLORIOUS DANCERS-Draw & paint movement & form freely. [drawing & painting mediums.  Improvers]

Dancers have intrigued many artists, think of the intimate ballet scenes of Degas, the simple lines of Matisse and Picasso or the elegant figures of Jack Vetriano.

We’ll start the day exploring form and the impression of movement and seeing how to capture key lines. 

From there you may wish to continue drawing or start a painting from an image [yours or mine]. In the pm we are hoping to welcome a special guest dancer who will help us to take our work live and free, sketching as she dances and twirls. 

So whether you want to explore the work of an old master, sketch and capture dancers bodies and movement , work from a painting or photo, or have the opportunity to work from a live dancing model , today will be all about the dance. 

 

*These small group workshops are planned with warm ups and progressive learning throughout the day. Liana is overflowing with help, tips and tricks and her workshops are considered friendly, supportive and good value.

*All students are invited to have ongoing imput by joining her free Artist’s Circle

TRY BEFORE YOU BUY Beginners without materials can purchase & borrow basic equipment for £5 cash on the day, if you reserve this with the box office at least two days beforehand.
