ELEVATING THE ORDINARY- A DRAWING COURSE (Beginners/improvers)

So often art has looked for great and lofty subjects, yet if we look there are intriguing subjects worthy of our attention all around. You or your family may have particular hobbies worth immortalising! After some warm ups, we’ll consider what makes an interesting drawing and how to draw out it’s character. With forays into texture and line we’ll try  a range of subjects, including going outside for the last hour or so. We’ll work  in unexpected drawing materials/tools and see how we can elevate the ordinary to be worthy of framing! Please come dressed appropriately for the weather and give yourself time to consider the materials list.

Liana offers a range of classes to tempt you to get creative. With her usual enthusiasm, humour and patience she’ll introduce you to the basics through to her unusual techniques to produce vibrant drawings and paintings. Book today to begin your journey before they sell out!
