Let’s hope we’re seeing lots of sunshine this year but whether outdoors or in, light can be difficult to capture and express. Yet light is one of the most crucial elements of a captivating painting, bringing it to life and taking it to another level.

Working from images, we will be considering colour choices, tones & convincing shadows and trying out versions to understand their part in putting a little magic in our paintings……

SUMMER SCHOOL IS HERE!

Make the most of summer with our relaxed painting days ; whether making the most of the glorious seafront [and café!] or in our large airy studio, we will dip our toes into a variety of summer subjects and interesting techniques. With her usual enthusiasm, humour and patience, Liana will guide you through and encourage you to produce gorgeous work to capture the summer. Bring your visitors too for a great experience!
