A great selection of stalls to suit all tastes and all ages – from both BookSellers & Authors, and featuring both National and South West based Writers!
There will be an array of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and childrens’ books on sale on the day!

Rachel’s Reads
I sell a range of new books, of different genres, as a blind-date-with-a-book style, wrapped up with clues as to the story inside. These I sell for adults and children. Books are a range of authors,souced via wholesales and shops by me. I also sell my own bookmarks I designed myself, as well as a pre-loved cart of nearly new books.
TEIGNMOUTH WRITERS’ STALL
A mix of fiction and non-fiction from a group of local authors, some of who are traditionally published and some who self-publish. All published to a professional standard.
Elizabeth Dulcie – Elizabeth Ducie gave up a highly successful career as a manufacturing consultant to tell lies for a living. She is the author of the Jones Sisters thrillers, set in the sometime murky world of international pharmaceuticals; and the Coombesford Chronicles, cosy crime set in a typical English village. I 2026, she received a life-time achievement award at the Women in Publishing summit
Mary Kitt – Mary has been writing since she was a child. She has published two biographies: ‘My Mother my Mirror’, exploring the influence our mothers have on our lives; and ‘The Life of Brian by the Wife of Brian’, an in-depth tale of a spiritual journey in the 1960s. She has also written a book of poetry called ‘Love in a Bundance’, with themes ranging from bottoms to Atlantic storms. Mary’s passion is human connection. She writes with an unusual purity, openness and humour, inviting the reader to share her most intimate explorations and deepest thoughts.
John Ludlam John Ludlam was born in 1960, in north London. He was educated in Enfield and Newcastle upon Tyne. The first words he wrote for public consumption were punk rock lyrics. Following spells as a sound engineer, a teacher of English and a stagehand, he became a journalist, working as a sub-editor for the South China Morning Post and a video producer for the Visnews and Reuters news agencies.More than thirty years spent covering international news, including assignments in Iraq, Jerusalem and Hong Kong, taught him that geopolitics will never leave us alone. We Are Made is the first in a series of novels examining what geopolitics does to people.
John lives in Teignmouth, on the south Devon coast. John’s novel is WE ARE MADE: ‘London, 1938. William is grieving over his former teacher and mentor, killed fighting for the Republicans in Spain. Bob Fairbrother – I will be launching my 3rd title and second in my trilogy Project Deadhead II. It is a crime / political thriller set slightly in the future with dystopian overtones. My 2nd book is called Scorched Planet Policy, and this explores climate change, attitude to our planet, AI, and how we deal with finding our identify and forgiving ourselves when our values our tested to the limit. My First book is Project Deadhead which has scored 4.3 on Amazon and Goodreads, a thriller which seemed far-fetched when it was being written but has become too close to reality. www.bobfairbrotherauthor.com
Felice Hardy – Felice has been a travel writer for most of her career, touring the world for a variety of newspapers and lifestyle magazines. She lives in Somerset with her writer husband and a small black dog. Her three children all live in Devon. Her recent book, The Tennis Champion Who Escaped the Nazis, was published by AdLib in the UK and USA. It was also translated into Czech. Charles Dunrod – After four years of development, I released my debut children’s book, What Flutters Above, on 5th September 2025. The story celebrates curiosity, courage and inclusion, and has been created with children’s emotional realities at its core. It is written to reflect a diverse range of experiences, especially for children who rarely see themselves in stories.
