10.00am to 10.45am – What Can Creative Writing Offer to Children & Families? – A gentle, friendly introduction to creative writing to young people aged 7 to 11 years and their parents/carers with Andrea East of Walrus Writing. Places for this workshop are £10.50 for one adult and one child attending together (£6.50 for each addtional adult, £4.50 for each additional child per family group. More details and Booking Here. 11.00am to 11.45am – Starting Your Writing for Wellbeing Journey – For Relaxation, Personal Growth and Increased Mindfulness, this workshop, aimed at adults, will help you to discover how writing for wellbeing could work for you. 11.00am to 11.45am – Jody Merelle – ‘Still Here’ – Teignmouth-based psychotherapist and wellbeing practitioner Jody Merelle will suggest some simple ways to prioritise your own mental health and develop a positive sense of wellbeing. 12noon to 12.30pm – Children’s Author, Susie Bower will be presenting a FREE Talk in the Stage Area of the Auditorium. Details to follow short;y
12.30pm to 1.30pm – The Business of Self-Publishing – Workshop with writer Elizabeth Ducie. Author of the series of books on ‘The Business of Writing’ alongside her series of Thrillers and ‘Cosy Crime’ novels, Elizabeth will give an insightful and expert overview of this topic. 12.45pm to 1.30pm – The Dittos of Dawlish – Find out about the events that led David to create the first Ditto houses, and how the Ditto Trail in Dawlish and local legends, became the inspiration for the Dittos of Dawlish books.
