Delightfully saucy, Karen combines a friendly and confident stage presence with a killer wit, an infectious giggle and some devastating one-liners. Probably the best circuit comic in the Midlands, Karen’s brash Brummie humour has a delightfully saucy and spiky edge and her bold, no-nonsense attitude and ability to play off the audience makes her the perfect headliner.
Karen has just supported Joe Lycett on tour. She won the prestigious Komedia New Act prize and was a finalist in the BBC New Comedy Awards and Babycham Funny Women.
‘Likeable headstrong persona- packing a considerable performing punch’: The List
‘Bayley’s comic timing that is rarely less than brilliant. An assured performer who doesn’t have much trouble getting audiences laughing.’: Chortle
‘A VERY good act!’: Jasper Carrott
There’s nobody quite like Andrew Watts. He’s quiet, unassuming, impossibly posh, ridiculous clever, very very funny … and terribly sorry about all of those things. A journalist, writer and contrarian, Andrew is like the mutant hybrid offspring of Alan Clark, Alan Titchmarsh and Alan Bennett. He invariably wins the crowd over as he canters through challenging subjects like an apologetic tsunami.
‘intelligent wit, honesty and more interesting and provocative thoughts in his show than many comics manage in a decade: The Scotsman
‘Lovers of stand-up laced with a cerebral cutting-edge should, without further prevarication, flock to see Andrew’: Three Weeks
Robin is a young Welsh stand-up and writer with a warm and winning approach to his audience. He has appeared on BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show, written for Have I Got News For You, and is the studio warm-up artist for the Graham Norton Show.
‘Bloody funny… a massively likeable performer who must surely be on the verge of nationwide fame.’ (Chortle)
Resident MC Tom Glover has hosted Teignmouth Comedy Club since it started and is a favourite with the local crowd. He is best known for his quick witted crowd work that makes his audience part of the joke, not the butt of it. Tom is a true locally-sourced comedian: he knows how to pronounce Teignmouth and has more jokes about Trago Mills than travelling on the Tube!
‘A firm audience favourite’: Chortle
‘His interaction with the crowd is perfect, with the ability to create great mental images’: Edinburgh Fringe Review
