Our monthly Comedy Night featuring 3 comedians and regular MC
A highly original and quirky performer, Roger Monkhouse`s trademark stage-prowling style and take-no-nonsense manner have established him as one of the hottest names on the comedy circuit. Roger is finally back in Teignmouth after four years and will no doubt be sparring with the audience once again with his rapier-like banter. Roger is always willing to accompany an audience member on a weird digression but, once everyone is listening, he’ll hit the room with some truly hilarious material.
‘The performance can’t be faulted; a relentless, gag-driven stream of tongue-in-cheek complaints delivered with economy’ – Chortle.co.uk
‘Witnessing a Roger (no relation to the late, great but distinctly orange Bob) Monkhouse gig is a little like watching a dotty old university professor at work. Although much funnier, of course’ – Manchester Evening News
Plymouth’s own Christian Russell-Pollock is one of the biggest names (literally) in comedy! His genial style puts everyone at ease, and everyone is included in the fun: Russell also brings the audience into his hilarious stories of mishap and misadventure.
‘Christian is one of the most exciting comics to emerge in a long time.’ - Mark Dolan
Demitris is one of the UK's most natural comedians. His intellectual look at life delivered in his cheeky, playful manner makes him a big hit with many audiences, particularly those that like their comedy from a broader and more sophisticated palette. Demitris has a habit of sailing as close as he can to the rocky shores of PC/woke taboos but, buoyed by laughter, he never quite runs aground.
‘Demitris Deech is a charmingly funny guy, who can thoroughly bond with an audience in a short space of time and has genuinely funny and clever gags.’ -Broadway Baby.
