Headliner - Julian Deane
Julian Deane has been wowing audiences across the country with his genius punch lines and perfect delivery. Julian was recently seen performing on Russell Howard’s Hour and supporting Paul Chowdhry on the mammoth nationwide tour Live Innit. His witty writing skills have also been put to use on Matt Forde’s Unspun (Dave Channel), which he wrote on in 2016. Having first performed stand up in 2005, Julian’s brilliant, utterly original and hilarious routines have earned him appreciation, recognition and praise from audiences across the country as well as prominent figures in the comedy industry.Furthermore, he has proved his talent by winning some of the most prestigious stand-up comedy competitions in the country and is also in big demand as a writer (Mock the Week, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Morgan Spurlock’s New Britannia). In late 2018, Julian and fellow comedian Carl Donnelly started the podcast Two Vegan Idiots which is soon to be followed by live dates across 2019. All of this makes him a terrific act with a hugely exciting future ahead of him.

Tom Toal is a twenty-four year old comedian, writer and actor from the town of Bexleyheath, South East London, which is famed for being the birthplace of Kate Bush….and that’s it. He performed his debut show On The Scrapheap about the break-up of his 6 year relationship at the Edinburgh and Leicester Festivals in 2010 and his follow up Rom-Coms and Revolutions goes to Edinburgh this year. Tom performs heartbreaking but ultimately heart-warming material about life, love and what it is truly like to be Tom Toal in this crazy world.
