About Victoria

Victoria is delighted to be teaching Drama for The Pavilions Teignmouth. Her career first began in 2001 studying for a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts and an A Level Dance qualification at South Devon College. She was then accepted by The Bath Spa School of Music and Drama, and holds a Degree in Performing Arts.

Victoria has an extensive performance background in stage, TV and film productions. Before graduation, Victoria spent a season with The Hever Lakeside Repertory Theatre Company in Kent as an Acting ASM. She then spent a year acting a variety of roles as a Shakespearean actor at The Shakespeare Birthplace in Stratford Upon Avon. Her TV/film and stage credits include Dr Who, Casualty, Larkrise To Candleford, The Four Seasons, and numerous roles in Rosamunde Pilcher films, as well as Murder In The Cathedral, Love & Fire, Intimate Exchanges, Tartuffe & Miss Julie.

She currently writes for and fronts her rock band "Out of Isca" performing original material at festivals, theatres and public houses, and has been featured on BBC Introducing, 4ZZZ, NCCR and Biker FM.

Victoria believes it is essential for the pupils she teaches to be able to aspire to a performer who is actively involved in the industry and can pass on skills to the next generation.

Victoria has taught for various stage schools and theatre companies all over the South West including Westcountry Theatre Company in Torbay, The Marine Lyme Youth Theatre in Lyme Regis, Studio 1 in Dorset, Infusion Arts in Exeter, and The Rainbow Theatre Company South West. She acquired Arts Award teaching qualification status in 2015 and currently teaches drama for Theatre Train Exeter and also for Combe Pafford School in Torquay.

As well as teaching, Victoria has directed various shows which have been staged locally and in the West End, including "Fright Night" for The Pauline Quirke Academy, and "The Lion King" & "The Wizard of Oz" for Razzamataz Theatre Schools.
